The commercial featured the return of the dynamic duo Kiichi Nakai and Miori Takimoto. Nakai san is known for his extensive career in both film and television. He is a prominent figure in Japanese cinema, having won numerous awards. Takimoto san is an actress and former singer, known for her beauty and charm, who has appeared in many television dramas and films.
Day one focused on grasping the orchard’s sweeping beauty and the harvest operation’s essence. Still, the hot weather and swarming mosquitoes added an extra challenge. Efficiency was the top priority, with the crew working quickly to minimize the actors’ exposure to the heat and insects. Filming had to wrap by noon, just before the worst of the midday sun, making every shot count. Drone footage was used to capture sweeping views of the orchards, while a lift provided high-angle shots that showcased the vastness of the prune fields. The actors’ performances were completed swiftly, ensuring they could retreat from the challenging conditions as soon as possible.
Day two was dedicated to still photography and the brand movie, where we focused on detailed product shots and highlighting the beauty of the orchard’s operations. The crew’s professionalism was evident in the combination of dynamic aerial footage, authentic harvest moments, and carefully styled product imagery, resulting in a visually compelling campaign that was completed with efficiency and care for the cast and crew under demanding conditions.
